The Sociology of Development and Change group teaches courses on on a range of topics related to development studies, political ecology, anthropology of law and crisis and disaster studies. We aim to teach students cutting-edge analysis, sound methodological training, and a distinctively critical-constructive and politically engaged approach. By rooting our teaching in our own research, we (re)connect student learning to the empirical reality we live in.
