LANDac (The Netherlands Land Academy) and ILC (the International Land Coalition) currently offer WUR master students* research internship positions at ILC partner organizations around the world. These internship positions provide students relevant working experience and the opportunity to put their research skills to practice, while simultaneously contributing to the objectives and goals of international organizations working on land governance.
This document provides an overview of available internship positions for the WUR master students. Please note that it is currently not possible for students to travel abroad. The positions and topics still need to be transformed to desk-research, in negotiation with the involved partner organization. LANDac and ILC mainly have a liaison role – the partner organization makes the final decision to accept a student, and the student (& university supervisor) and the partner organizations together discuss the practicalities, exact content and activities of the internship. The internship positions are for 3-4 months, unless otherwise agreed with the partner organizations.
To express your interest in an internship position, please send an e-mail with your CV and motivation letter to the contact person of your preferred internship, with firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com in CC. Applications will be considered an a rolling basis, which means that your preferred internship position might already be fulfilled.
For internships specifics, you may contact the contact person of the partner organization,
with Silvia Forno, ILC’s internship coordinator, in CC (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Please note that the internships are for WUR master students, aimed specifically, but not exclusively, at master students International Development Studies, and Development and Rural Innovation. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate students from other universities for these positions at the moment. Collaborations also exist for UU students International Development, and ITC students M-GEO and M-SE. For more information, contact email@example.com
